Welcome to Australian-Wildlife.com! This site is for anyone who, like me, is fascinated and enchanted by Australia's wildlife. Within these pages you will find a lots of information about Australia's wonderful wildlife, with special relevance for those travelling to these shores. The aim is to give you background information of all of the main species you are likely to encounter, and thereby hopefully improve the quality of your wildlife viewing experience. There are reviews of wildlife field guides, popular quality gifts and the opportunity to buy beautiful prints of many of Australia's best known and best loved animals, including of course koala and kangaroo pictures. You can also link to my stock photography at Alamy and the RSPCA.

I first came to Australia for a holiday back in 1999. I now live here and am working as a professional photographer. My love for Australia's wildlife grows every day and I spend as much of my time as money will allow travelling around the country with camera and binoculars in hand.

Over the years I have built up a large collection of books and videos about Australian wildlife, and I know that it can be quite labour intensive finding exactly what you are after. Hopefully the reviews and factual information will save you a lot of time and effort.
