Dingo, Canis Lupus Dingo.

Dingoes are still found right across mainland Australia, albeit with greatly reduced numbers in the south-east due to extensive baiting.

One of the unintended consequences of this baiting programme has been the expansion of the dingo/feral hybrid population - dogs which are much more likely to cause problems to stock.

This image was taken on the New South Wales mid-north coast.
